Communities — UX Overhaul & Official Communities

  • ▸Ten official communities are now live: Build in Public, Shipped, Debugging Den, Roast My App, AI Native, Weekend Projects, Indie Stack, Getting Started, Launch Week, and Hire a Hunter.
  • ▸New compose bar — posting expands inline, no page navigation needed. Pick a type (Discussion / Question / Tip), write your title and body, and post.
  • ▸Search bar on the communities browse page — filter by name, slug, or description.
  • ▸Guest CTAs — proper sign-in prompts with Sign In and Sign Up options instead of disabled inputs.
  • ▸Reply votes in comment threads now work correctly.
  • ▸Desktop navigation switches to hamburger menu on screens below 1024px — no more overlap on tablets.
  • ▸Active nav highlighting — current page turns yellow. Hash section links (How It Works, Earn Bounties) only highlight when those sections are visible on screen.

VF Chips — Bounty Difficulty Score

  • ▸Vibe Coders get 10 VF Chips on sign-up — enough to post your first bounty.
  • ▸Posting a bounty costs chips (min 1) — higher stakes signal harder bugs and attract top hunters.
  • ▸Submitting a fix is free for hunters. Winners earn XP and a verified fix on their profile.
  • ▸Chip stake is shown on every bounty card as a difficulty indicator.
