VibeFix is a contest-based marketplace. Customers post bounties for broken apps; developers compete to fix them. By using VibeFix, you agree to everything below. We've written it in plain English — no legalese.

1. How Bounties Work

VibeFix uses a contest model. When you post a bounty:

  • You set a fixed price ($10–$1,000). Multiple developers can work on it simultaneously.
  • Developers submit their solutions. You review all submissions and pick the one that works best.
  • Only the accepted submission gets paid. All others receive nothing.
  • VibeFix charges a 20% platform fee on top of the bounty. This covers payment processing and platform costs.

Example: You set a $100 bounty.

→ You pay: $120 (bounty + 20% fee)

→ Winning developer receives: $100

→ VibeFix keeps: $20

2. For Customers: Payment & Refunds

Pay upfront

Payment is collected when you post a bounty. Your money is held by VibeFix and only released to a developer when you explicitly accept their solution. You are never charged just because someone submitted.

Cancellation & refunds

You may cancel a bounty — and receive a full refund — under these conditions:

  • Open In Progress — No submissions yet. You can cancel anytime for a full refund.
  • Has Submissions — Developers have already submitted work. Cancellation at this stage is at VibeFix's discretion. Contact support@vibefix.co.
  • Completed — You accepted a submission. No refund is possible.

14-day auto-refund policy

If no submission has been accepted within 14 calendar days of your bounty going live, you are entitled to a full refund. Email support@vibefix.co to request it. We process refunds within 5 business days.

Important

Refunds are to your original payment method. VibeFix does not retain any portion of the bounty or platform fee when a full refund is issued.

3. Rejecting Submissions

You are never forced to accept a submission. You may reject any or all submissions if they do not fix your problem.

  • Rejected developers receive no payment.
  • After rejection, the bounty remains open. The same developer may revise and resubmit, or new developers can submit.
  • You are not required to provide a reason for rejection, but we encourage brief feedback so developers can improve.

Acting in bad faith (e.g., rejecting a working solution to avoid payment, then using the fix) violates these terms. VibeFix may withhold future access and, at our discretion, release payment to the developer.

4. For Developers

You compete at your own risk

Submitting a solution does not guarantee payment. This is a contest — only the accepted solution wins. By submitting, you accept the risk of working without guaranteed compensation.

Payouts

  • When a customer accepts your submission, your bounty amount is credited to your VibeFix wallet.
  • You can request a payout once your wallet balance reaches $100.
  • Payouts are processed manually via bank transfer within 3–5 business days of your request.
  • VibeFix does not charge developers any fee. The 20% fee is paid by the customer.

Submission quality

  • Your submission must include a clear description of what you fixed and how.
  • Submitting plagiarised code, AI-generated solutions without verification, or solutions that don't address the problem described is prohibited.

5. Disputes

Either party may raise a dispute by emailing support@vibefix.co. A disputed job is moved to Disputed status and frozen until resolved.

VibeFix's decision on disputed payments is final. We aim to resolve all disputes within 7 business days.

6. General

  • VibeFix reserves the right to remove any job or user that violates these terms.
  • We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.
  • VibeFix is not responsible for the quality of code or fixes provided by developers.
  • Questions? Email support@vibefix.co.

Simple, fair, transparent.

If something isn't clear, email support@vibefix.co — we'll explain it.
